Trendforce pointed out that in the current TV market, OLED has become the pronoun of high-quality TV because of its high color saturation and high contrast, which makes consumers feel the most. However, there is only one supplier of OLED TV panel, LG display. Coupled with the high price, TV brand factories have switched to miniled backlight TV, which is also under the banner of high brightness and high contrast. The trend of being different from OLED seems to take shape, and it has also opened a new TV market specification positioning. It is estimated that the global miniled backlight TV shipment will reach 2.6 to 3 million units in 2021.
